Śreżoga [heat haze] is the shimmering, heated air that rises above the ground. We most often associate this phenomenon with the wavering image of distant asphalt on a scorching summer day. In much the same way, memories shimmer on the horizon of our minds, with the echoes of childhood lingering the longest. This exhibition explores precisely that: the universality of certain memories connected with growing up, and the ways in which our recollections of places, objects, and events can prove surprisingly alike.

TENSION revolves around the theme of the city, a subject present in the artist's practice for an extended period. The city functions here as both a source of inspiration and an object of study, with particular attention given to the ecology of urban space and to the city as a site of interspecies coexistence.

When you hold something very tightly, at some point it will snap. This tension comes from the
outside, and the material is passive. Deprived of its function, it hangs in limbo. The hot asphalt already
foreshadows some changes.
Is there life without ratchet straps?

Witch hunts remain present in our collective consciousness, although often only in the form of popular culture and fiction. What is often absent from this narrative is the misogynistic basis of accusations of witchcraft and the impact of these persecutions on the formation of the contemporary social order.

Life flourishes amidst the ruins of a crumbling urban order.
Caught up in the rush of everyday life, we move with a destination in mind, rarely noticing the spaces in between. Sidewalks, tunnels, and the façades of buildings lining the streets remain at the margins of our awareness.

Once adopted into the production process of capital, the means of labour passes through different metamorphoses, whose culmination is the machine, or rather, an automatic system of machinery, set in motion by an automaton, a moving power that moves itself; this automaton consisting of numerous mechanical and intellectual organs, so that the workers themselves are cast merely as its conscious linkages.

Long fields of barley and of rye,
That clothe the wold and meet the sky;
And thro' the field the road runs by
To many-tower'd Camelot;

Contemporary reality is dominated by the constant flow of objects. Late capitalism permeates every aspect of everyday life with consumption, turning it into the only available form of relief and relaxation – almost a substitute for rest. In this world, shopping becomes a ritual gesture, while the product is no longer simply a thing, but a promise, an image designed to evoke desire. Consumption becomes a spectacle in which what is at stake is the experience of an illusion of fulfillment.

shhhhh, very quietly, can you hear it? (it’s dark here and the darkness is spinning around in my ears and eyes, the walls are squealing and drooling onto the ground, the sounds of hundreds of wet footsteps and whirlpools and stars everywhere in the corners, they’re watching as I look away, you have to take care of him, that’s what Mum used to tell me) and do you remember how she used to sing to us?

Bathroom. Your own bathroom is associated with comfort and safety; when you enter someone else’s, you intrude upon their privacy. You become a voyeur. Exploring a stranger’s bathroom is exciting, voyeuristic. It is a violation of intimacy, an encounter with a sphere that remains inaccessible to the outside gaze. By looking through its contents, you can learn a great deal about the person who uses it – what kind of shower gel they use, how they like to smell, or whether they clean the grout between the tiles.
